DAY 1, Philadelphia PA to Charlotte NC

Here we go. First check GPS for directions to Pacific Ocen. No luck there! So onward. Straight down 95 through Washington DC, then on to Route 29 south west through Charlottsville, Lynchburg, Danville and into North Carolina ending up close to the NC/SC bordeer in Charlotte, NC. Had a picnic dinner along the way from Subway amd arrived at hotel probably about 900PM. Route 29 proved to be relatively fast and much more scenic than the interstates. Was a straight shot from Virgina to South Carolina.

Our destination for tomorrow is Greenville, SC, just about 2 hours West of here.
