  • Mom's Gmom Jean Something + Gpop John Roy Boilers

According to what I've found, when the Boilers got to the USA, they were shocked that the stories of America being a great melting pot were true.

Grandma Margie once explained it like this:

"My parents weren't prejudiced, they just didn't feel comfortable around people who grew up different from them, that's all."

It was quite the scandal at first when the Cappelli-Simpsons' son Homer wanted to marry a Boilers' daughter, but if there was one thing Great Grandma Jean liked, it seems to have been simple, happy endings to silly arguments.
