Bart

Bart Jon Simpson + HoneyDK Kimmy

While they obviously weren’t named after Simpsons characters, Uncle Bart and Aunt HoneyDK feel the most like they could be Simpsons characters. When he was young Uncle Bart delighted in tricking his teachers into revealing information about their personal lives, which he and his friends then mercilessly mocked them with. As he got older he only got more eccentric – he and his girlfriend (and later wife) joined a local chapter of the “comedy” group Improv Everywhere, where they tirelessly worked to make people just going about their days wonder if they were going crazy.

Duchess

Auntie Duchess

Auntie Duchess has always been one of the most colorful members of our storied family. She was born quite unexpectedly in a car while her family was on a vacation to Colorado, and she continued to surprise from there. At the age of 7 she proclaimed she would be a best-selling author and here we are, 4 years after her third New York Times bestseller novel was published. Read more…

Gmom Boilers

  • Mom's Gmom Jean Something + Gpop John Roy Boilers

According to what I've found, when the Boilers got to the USA, they were shocked that the stories of America being a great melting pot were true.

Grandma Margie once explained it like this:

"My parents weren't prejudiced, they just didn't feel comfortable around people who grew up different from them, that's all."

Joseph Gpop Simpson :: Angela Gmom Cappelli Simpson

Our Story

Great Grandma Angela and Great Grandpa Joseph were apparently quite the item back in Italy, which was certainly helped by their parents’ somewhat legendary fortune.

I can’t imagine what it must’ve been like to leave the small and close-knit town they grew up in for not just a new country, but also such a new way of life. Fortunately, our power couple great grandparents were quite adaptable to the US’ faster pace and bigger cities.

The Fivejays

The Simpsons 5 Jays

No one thought it would work with Homer being of a strict Italian descent and Marjorie coming from a very Irish Family.

When you think 'grandparents', the first image in your mind is probably pretty close to Grandpa Homer and Grandma Margie.

Who would think that these kind senior citizens were quite the hellraisers back in the day?

ITGM The Top Italians

Even though we modern Wackadoodles have had to put up with a lot, the Top Italians had to put up with ... substantially more. They fled Fascist Italy in the 1940s and wound up in sunny Samatoonie, California with their three children, (Great) Aunt Mary, (Great) Uncle Joe, and of course our Great Grandmom Angela with her family in tow.

Josef

Josef JoJo Simpson + Juicy Klien

Uncle Josef Jojo Simpson (everyone always spells out his full name) and his wife Ms. Klien have always been the black sheep of the modern Wackadoodle family. They live in Michigan, where Ms. Klien was born. she and her parents were members of a strange order that believed that the world would end at the turn of the millennium, but mostly used this as an excuse for members of all ages to get wasted.

Kri

Kri Bouvier + Billy Justini

Not much is known about Kri B. and Billy J.’s current whereabouts, for reasons I’ll get into shortly, but we do know that Cousin Kri was born in 1990 in PixieDust New Mexico. From a young age she exhibited a fiendish intelligence and an occasionally endearing (but often annoying) trickster streak, which eventually evolved into full-blown kleptomania by the time she was 13. She met and married a handsome stranger named Billy Justini in a private ceremony in Baja California and after that, news about the couple was scarce.

By the Sea

Lisa Jon Simpson + Clancy Serf Bouvier

Aunt Lisa loved to joke that she was named after the Simpsons character, and always poo poo’d away whenever anyone mentioned that the Simpsons debuted when she was already nearly 40 years old.

She’s certainly smart enough to be the “real” Lisa Simpson, graduating from a four-year university in only two years with honors. But she certainly doesn’t fit the stereotypical image of a nerd Read more…

Maggie John Simpson + Abe Bob Maxter

Now who could these people be? I’ve never heard of them before… Just kidding! My parents met in college and eloped immediately after graduation. The most remarkable thing about my parents is how completely normal they are. Where the rest of our family has some kind of bizarre or storied past, our particular branch of the tree is not that interesting.

MGGMOM The Top Irish

Mom's Great Grand Mom

We unfortunately don't have much information about the Very Top Irish, other than that they had three children, Helen, John, and Edie Boilers, who all emigrated to New Mexico.

It's interesting that the Very Top Irish never followed their kids; maybe there was some sort of drama there like with Great Grandma Simpson and her parents?
